Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra will have “Taisei Corporation presents: Yomikyo Summer Festival 2023 ‘The Greatest Concertos’ & ‘The Greatest Symphonies’” concerts on August 23 (Wed) and August 26 (Sat) at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.
Both concerts will be conducted by Kenshiro Sakairi who debuted at the YNSO April last year in Kofu, Yamanashi, receiving great reviews with his clear sound and lively rhythm.
With these summer festival concerts, he is expected to show his talent with the most famous classical pieces of all time.

On August 23, we will have a violinist who won last year’s Henryk Wieniawski Competition, Hina Maeda, a Vienna-born cellist who has been called as a “genus artist,” Sakura Toba, and last year’s Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition winner, Masaya Kamei as a pianist.

On August 26, Kenshiro Sakairi will conduct three great symphonies: Schubert’s “Unfinished”, Beethoven “5,” and Dvořák’s “From the New World.”

Ticket sale starts on Saturday, April 15 for YNSO members and Saturday, April 22 for general public.
