Maestro Tatsuya Shimono extends his tenure as Resident Conductor of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra through March 2013

We are delighted to announce that Maestro Tatsuya Shimono will continue as the YNSO's Resident Conductor for another three years. Originally contracted to perform with the YNSO from November 1, 2006, through October 31, 2009, he has graciously agreed to the extension and will celebrate the YNSO's 50th anniversary in 2012 with the orchestra.
